Advancing Post-Secondary Pathways

At John Adams Academy®, we are deeply committed to cultivating the next generation of leaders, educators, and engaged citizens through a rigorous classical leadership education. One of the vital components of our mission is to provide scholars with clear and enriching pathways to post-secondary success.

To support this vision, we offer our scholars multiple opportunities to continue their classical education beyond high school. Scholars who aspire to become educators themselves can take advantage of specialized post-secondary pathways that prepare them to teach classical education to future generations. Through mentoring, curriculum guidance, and exposure to classical pedagogy, these students gain the knowledge and skills necessary to become effective and inspiring teachers in classical academies, charter schools, and other educational institutions committed to the liberal arts tradition.

In addition, the Lyceum helps provide John Adams Academy® high school students the opportunity to earn college credit while still enrolled in high school through concurrent enrollment programs. These partnerships with local colleges and universities allow scholars to take liberal arts courses that align with our classical curriculum, giving them a head start on their college education. By participating in these programs, students not only experience the rigor and expectations of college-level coursework, but also develop greater confidence, discipline, and academic independence. We are also working to develop our own courses and programming through which scholars can pursue post-secondary training and credits directly through the Lyceum.

Ultimately, our goal is to inspire scholars to pursue lives of meaning, service, and leadership. Whether they choose to enter a university, pursue a teaching career in classical education, or explore other professional and civic paths, John Adams Academy® equips them with the tools to thrive. We are proud to offer a supportive, challenging, and virtue-driven environment where post-secondary aspirations can flourish.
